WHKP News reached out to WSPA in Spartanburg for a response after Optimum Cable took channel 7 and channel 62 off their line up.
WSPA's written response is "Optimum is putting its subscribers in the middle of a dispute over a new contract by refusing to even negotiate. WSPA also stated OPTIMUM's parent company - Altice - is in a very difficult situation, burdened by billions in debt.
WSPA says OPTIMUM customers should call them and complain. 888-276-5255 is the number to call.
According to WSPA's written response, OPTIMUM is planning on dropping even more channels.
