President Trump thought he was doing a 'good thing' by inviting the National Football Champs for a meal in the White House.

Much to his surprise he is receiving an avalanche of critical comments.  Both from the national press and from thousands of Facebook subscribers. Critical comments are surrounding the fact that he served up hamburgers and french fries....and hundreds of them, along with other fast-food items from McDonalds, Wendy's and other national fast-food chains....in the WHITE HOUSE....honoring the Clemson National Football Champions.

For many years, it has been the White House tradition for the national winners of various sporting events to receive invitations, from the President of the United States' to attend a get-together at the White House, with the President, himself, serving as host.  On some occasions, teams have declined the Presidential invitation.  However the Clemson Tigers, from Clemson, S.C....our neighbors "just down the road".... were thrilled to travel to Washington, D.C. to be honored in this very special 'Presidential way'.

Not many complaints coming from the Clelmson 'football guys' and coaches.....and loyal fans.

Seems to be that the 'complainers' are putting more importance on a 'meal' than on this memory of being honored at the White House.

A comment heard locally - "The EXPERIENCE" will be remembered - long after what they had for dinner is forgotten.
