HENDERSON COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — An Arden man has been charged with embezzling more than $50,000 from a Henderson County youth sports league.
The Henderson County Sheriff's Office announced in a Feb. 7 news release that Rodolfo Dejesus Chacon. 56, was arrested by members of the U.S. Marshals Carolinas Regional Fugitive Task Force.
The arrest comes nearly one year after Henderson County's Criminal Investigations Division Property Crimes Unit received a report of embezzlement from a Henderson County youth sports league. During the investigation, the suspect was identified as Arden's Chacon.
According to the news release, Chacon was brought before a magistrate and issued a $20,000 secured bond.
