On behalf of the staff, board, volunteers, and artists of Flat Rock Playhouse, we extend our thoughts, prayers, and hopes for a swift recovery from the devastation and impacts of Hurricane Helene.
We are extremely grateful to our community here in the region and all of those who have reached out and expressed concern. Heartfelt thanks goes out to all those working tirelessly to get our region back on its feet from first responders, to utility workers, to volunteers. THANK YOU!
We have made the difficult decision to CANCEL the upcoming
production of CATS originally scheduled for
Oct 25 - Nov. 10.
At this time, Flat Rock Playhouse wishes to ensure the safety of our attendees, performers, staff, and community. As we have continued to monitor recovery efforts and heed the guidance of local authorities, it has become clear that proceeding with these performances would pose significant risks.
Flat Rock Playhouse is still without property-wide power, phone lines and internet service. The Box Office will be in contact with ticket holders as soon as we are able. Additionally, the Administrative offices, and Playhouse Jr. classes will continue to be closed until further notice.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and disappointment this may cause and appreciate your support, patience and understanding during this difficult time.
