OPTIMUM CABLE DROPS WSPA AND THE CW
Optimum Cable has now blocked local channels WSPA 7,and The CW channel 62.
These channels came in at 807 and 802 on the cable service list.
WSPA is a local TV station and CBS affiliate and carries many major programs and sporting events.The CW carries ACC sports like football and basketball.
Last year after raising their rates again, Optimum dropped Bally Sport channels eliminating the Atlanta Braves among other sports features.
Local subscribers are livid over more Optimium block outs and are investigating alternative TV providers.
