Henderson County officials have put an outdoor burning ban in effect as of noon Sunday due to hazardous fire conditions.
The ban will remain in effect until conditions improve.

Unseasonably warm weather and low humidity have heightened fire risks, the U.S. Forest Service said in a news release announcing numerous wildfires.
