The Henderson County Public Library (main branch on Washington Street) is hosting an excellent Smithsonian Institution traveling exhibit called "Voices and Votes: Democracy in America" through January 25. It's worth a visit... highlights the struggle get the vote through revolution, and how the vote has gradually been extended to more and more groups of Americans - often with great struggle. Very thought-provoking.
