Six people made it out unharmed after fire destroyed a home in Transylvania County.
Firefighters say the call came in at 12:43 a.m. to Golden Road in Lake Toxaway.
The 911 caller told dispatchers that her porch was on fire, possibly from an apparent cigarette. Firefighters say that cause is still unconfirmed at this time.
The caller also said two adults and four children were safely out of the house, but their dog was still inside.
When firefighters arrived on the scene the home was fully engulfed in flames along with a truck and camper.
A report issued Saturday by firefighters they day the 2,100 square foot home had a value of about $300.000.
They say because of the location of this home, up a steep winding driveway, the fire department had a difficult time fighting the fire.
The fire was under control by 1:41 a.m.
Investigators from the Transylvania County Fire Marshal's Office are looking into the cause of the fire.
