Dr. Dan Lunsford, formerly Superintendent of the Henderson County School System and more recently President of Mars Hill University has retired after a lifetime of distinguised service in school systems throughout North Carolina.
Meanwhile, it has been reported that the retired president of Blue Ridge Community College, Dr.David Sink, will run for the N C state senate in Brunswick County.
