This Saturday, May 3, the Friends of Downtown and City of Hendersonville invite the community to celebrate two exciting events in the heart of downtown! Start your day at the Opening Day of the Hendersonville Farmers Market and continue the fun with the 7th Avenue Street Fest, marking the grand reopening of the newly revitalized 7th Avenue District.
Locally Grown, Community Strong at the Hendersonville Farmers Market Opening Day 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. | Maple Street at the Historic Train Depot
The 2025 Hendersonville Farmers Market season officially begins this Saturday! Shoppers can browse an incredible selection of fresh local produce, baked goods, handmade crafts, and more. Many vendors will stay past market hours to participate in the 7th Avenue Street Fest.
The Market will feature live music by Jacob Dunham and fun activities in the Kids’ Corner, sponsored by Mini Batch Bakery. Over 45 local vendors will be on hand, ready to bring you the very best our area has to offer.
SNAP/EBT Double Dollars Program:
The market is a SNAP/EBT retailer and matches purchases dollar-for-dollar through the Double Up Food Bucks program. Shoppers can swipe their EBT cards at the information booth and use tokens to buy eligible goods, thanks to support from local sponsors and the Appalachian Sustainable Agriculture Project’s Double Up NC Grant.
