Due to inclement weather and the potential for travel impacts, City of Hendersonville non-emergency local government offices will be closing early on Friday, January 10, 2025, at noon. This early closure will not impact the delivery of public safety and critical infrastructure services. If you have an emergency, please dial 911.

Emergency personnel recommend residents monitor local weather reports and limit travel before conditions start to deteriorate. When road conditions are unsafe, stay home.

Hendersonville Public Works reminds residents to remove their cars from streets to facilitate efficient snow removal. Crews will continue around-the-clock snow clearing during the winter storm on primary and secondary City roads along with the Downtown business districts.

Trash and recycling collection will run on a regular Friday schedule but may be delayed in some areas due to snow covered and icy roads. Residents are asked to follow the regular collection schedule and leave trash and recycling at curbside. Do not place cans where they would hinder snow removal crews. If conditions restrict access, crews will collect as soon as conditions improve.

As always, the public is reminded only to call 911 to report actual emergencies. The community should not use 911 or emergency services phone lines to ask about road conditions or power outage updates. The public can enroll in City of Hendersonville weather and public safety alerts on the City’s website

Customers may call (828) 891-7779 for water/sewer emergencies of City infrastructure.
