Last month, the facebook page of Camp Mondamin, in Tuxedo on Lake Summit, was used to announce the camp's decision not to operate this season.
The camp celebrated their 100th anniversary last year....and is currently under the direction of Andrew Bell.
Problems with staffing was given as the reason the camp will not operate this season, but in the same breath, indicated they plan on operating next year in 2024.
Mondamin was started by Frank Bell, Sr. in 1922 and has been under the same family ownership since that time.
