TO THE WAR MEMORIALS IN WASHINGTON, D.C.
Blue Ridge Honor Flight’s next flight will take place Saturday, September 30. The flight will be taking World War II, Korean War veterans, and any Vietnam veteran with a life-limiting illness to visit their memorials in Washington D.C.
Honor Flight is once again partnering with the Asheville Regional Airport to make these trips a reality. Airport Marking Director Tina Kinsey said, “It’s always an honor for us to help make the whole experience memorable and comfortable for our veterans.”
Spaces are available for this flight and veterans and guardians are encouraged to fill out the applications available on www.blueridgehonorflight.com.
